Why did you pick Taylor Engineering for your summer internship?
“My family recently moved from Chicago to Jacksonville, FL, and I really wanted to look for accounting opportunities in the area. I thought Taylor was a great fit because I can wrap my head around a new industry, and because now that I’ve completed my undergraduate degree, I really want to apply what I’ve learned to a real company and better root my understanding of years past.”

Why did you pick Taylor Engineering for your summer internship?
“Taylor Engineering was the right place to put my knowledge into practice. After searching Taylor’s staff on LinkedIn, I found out that its knowledgeable, well-experienced staff would be excellent mentors to establish my career path in the US. In addition, the projects that the company works on are leading-edge ones in the coastal engineering field, which provides a fertile ground to obtain a realistic insight into this practice. I was also fascinated by Taylor’s professional yet friendly atmosphere.”

“I chose Taylor Engineering because of the variety within the company. With projects ranging from beach nourishment to living shorelines and canal dredging, I knew that I would have countless opportunities to learn, and that I would leave with a well-rounded perspective on the environmental field. The company also offered learning opportunities in areas other than the environmental field, such as community interaction and geosciences, which was extremely appealing to me, as I didn’t want my knowledge to be confined to a single discipline.”

“The reason I picked Taylor Engineering for my summer internship Is because growing up in Florida I have always been on or around the water and wanted to find a way I could incorporate that into my job. I felt that Taylor Engineering would give me great opportunity to do that as well as learn many other aspects of waterfront engineering.”

I enjoy working on projects that I am passionate about, and Taylor Engineering offers those opportunities for me. Specifically, I am passionate about shoreline restoration and environmental impact studies.”
