The Resilient Florida Program within the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) was tasked with developing a comprehensive statewide flood vulnerability and sea level rise (SLR) assessment (Statewide Assessment). FDEP contracted Taylor Engineering to produce a Statewide Assessment using consistent flood-risk databases across the state. Taylor Engineering, in collaboration with Fathom and Jones Edmunds, developed a consistent set of flood risk maps for coastal and inland flooding conditions and assessed the flooding depth at critical infrastructure statewide.
