Ken possesses a unique, experience-based skill set that spans a broad range of coastal zone issues and provides managerial oversight on many of the company’s largest clients and contracts. He has gained extensive practical experience through design of dredging projects in varied environments including rivers, estuaries, inlets, and offshore borrow sites. In addition to leading Taylor’s Dredging & Navigation group, Ken also oversees the Coastal and Marine Geosciences Laboratory, which specializes in the analysis of sediment samples and cores collected from beaches, navigation channels, and dredged material management areas.
Ken is a professional Engineer licensed in Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana and has been with Taylor Engineering since 2004. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida.
