JUPITER INLET LIGHTHOUSE OUTSTANDING NATURAL AREA LIVING SHORELINE PROJECT

Sealed bids for the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area Living Shoreline Project will be received by the Jupiter Inlet District at its offices at 400 North Delaware Blvd., Jupiter, Florida 33458 until 2:00 p.m., local time, January 6, 2021, and then at said offices publicly opened and read aloud.  The work generally consists of constructing a timber pier with mesh decking, eleven (11) shore parallel breakwaters by placing approximately 338 tons of low-crested limestone (FDOT Bank and Shore) and 4,850.2 square feet of foundation bedding (filter fabric and bedding stone), and installation of vegetation along the shoreline to create a living shoreline along the north bank of the Loxahatchee River/Intracoastal Waterway in Jupiter, Florida. The Contractor will have one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to complete the work.

A Bid Bond will be required. Offers providing less than sixty (60) days for District acceptance after the date offers are due will not be considered and will be rejected.

Responses to questions will appear as an addendum to the bid documents. Questions received after 6 p.m., local time, December 30, 2020 will go unanswered.

Hard copy documents are available at the offices of Taylor Engineering, Inc., upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per set.
