Taylor Engineering Gets High Marks in Client Satisfaction

Based on a survey conducted by an independent consultant, Taylor Engineering clients believe that our firm has an excellent reputation as a preeminent water resources engineering company. Most said they were very satisfied with our services, would recommend us to colleagues, and would use us for additional services. They ranked our project managers very high in responsiveness, timeliness, adherence to deadlines, professionalism, integrity, and understanding their needs. When asked the most important attribute in an engineering firm, 56% cited technical expertise. When asked what sets Taylor Engineering apart from other firms, the top three responses were technical expertise, personal relationships, and responsiveness. With these survey results and with 95% of our annual revenues derived from repeat business, our clients clearly recognize we stand behind our values — professional integrity, client service, technical excellence, financial responsibility, and teamwork.

From these survey results we can conclude that our focus on water resources engineering over the past 25 years is a quality that our clients value and sets us apart from the competition. We provide our clients with the expertise necessary for their challenging projects and maintain the long-term relationships needed to work through complicated agency requirements. View of Completed S-65E Tailwater Structure – Lake Okeechobee, FL

Cledwyn R. Weldon, P.E.Director, Engineering DepartmentSouth Florida Water Management District

Taylor Engineering and its subconsultant for the S-65E project not only provided the eclectic skills the project demanded but also overcame time and logistic obstacles to complete the project two weeks before the arrival of Tropical Storm Fay in August. Taylor Engineering devised a solution to S-65E’s structural issue; designed, wrote specifications for, and oversaw the construction of the massive tailwater structure that now supports S-65E; and supported this work with sound hydraulic analyses. The District feels fortunate to have found a company who could provide these services.
