The Florida Engineering Society (FES) has recognized Terry Hull, P.E. as its 2009 Engineer of the Year. Mr. Hull has dedicated his 24-year career to the
engineering profession and his community. Mr.Hull spent his entire career at Taylor Engineering where he has practiced water resources engineering
including coastal and environmental engineering.
Now the company’s president, he has been instrumental in the company’s growth from 5 to over 85 professionals. He led the company’s expansion
into North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana; holds active professional engineer licenses in five states; and serves on the company’s
Board of Directors.
His continuing efforts on behalf of the engineering profession, technical achievements, responsibilities in civic and community service, and personal and
professional integrity make Mr. Hull worthy of this prestigious award.The Florida Engineering Society bestows Engineer of the Year status to the candidate who best
exemplifies the ideal image of the Professional Engineer.
